Terms & Conditions of Hotel Reservations

HUNVENTOR Kft (the "Travel Agency") is the operator of the www.HolidayHungary.com web site. The Travel Agency's Terms & Conditions apply for individual guests only. Groups shall make an inquiry.
Charges for Use:
The use of this reservation system is free of charge.
Acceptance of Reservation Requests:
Reservations are subject to confirmation by the Travel Agency. Reservations will be confirmed in writing (email). The confirmation contains the following information: name of the Guest, specification of the service, terms of payment, cancellation dates and penalties.
Terms of Payment:
The Guest will effect payment at the hotel or the provider of the service, unless otherwise specified.
Modification and Cancellation, No-Show:
Reservations can be modified and cancelled for free by the cancellation deadline. The cancellation deadline is 3 days prior to arrival, unless otherwise specified.
In case of a modification or cancellation after the cancellation deadline and in case of a no-show, a penalty may be charged to the Guest. The penalty equals to one night's lodging, unless otherwise specified.
Times and dates to make a modification or cancellation without a fee and penalty as well as terms of reservation may vary by location, service, season, on Special Events and Holidays.
Modification of Terms&Conditions:
The Travel Agency reserves the right to change these Terms&Conditions without prior notice. Your use of this site will be conditioned upon the terms and conditions in force at the time of your use.

Terms & Conditions of Car Rental

HUNVENTOR Kft (the "Travel Agency") is the operator of the www.HolidayHungary.com web site. The Travel Agency provides free online reservation for the services of the car rental company Fox Autorent Kft (1116 Budapest, Vegyesz u. 17-25., Hungary).
Charges for Use:
The use of this reservation system is free of charge.
Rental Eligibility Requirements:
You must be min. 18 years old (except for the car groups F, G, H and I, where minimum age is 23), must have a valid driver's licence and a valid passport or a valid identity card.
Acceptance of Reservation Requests:
Reservations are subject to confirmation by the Travel Agency. Reservations will be confirmed in writing (email). The confirmation contains the following information: name of the Guest, specification of the service, terms of payment, cancellation dates and penalties.
Car Rental Agreement:
The Guest and the Car Rental Company will sign the car rental agreement on the pickup location.
Terms of Payment:
The Guest will settle the rental fee to the Car Rental Company on the pickup location after signing the car rental agreement. The rental fee will be invoiced in HUF (Hungarian Forint). All major credit cards, eurocheques and cash will be accepted as method of payment. A deposit of HUF 100 000 - 300 000 (EUR 400 - 1200) depending on car type will be blocked on the credit card of the renter until the return of the car.
Rates include:
- 220 EUR for groups F, G,H and I,
- 330 EUR for the convertibles and commercial cars,
- 165 EUR for all other groups,
- 330 EUR for cars rented by drivers under 21.

Extra Services:
Border Crossing Policy
Driving outside Hungary is subject to special conditions and / or restrictions. The vehicles are not allowed to be driven into the following countries:
- Albania
- Bosnia Herzegowina
- Bulgaria
- Romania
- CIS countries (former Soviet states)
- Yugoslavia
Vehicles are allowed to be driven into all other countries on request ! Please notify us of your intended cross-border travel on the reservation form.
Modification, Cancellation and No-show:
Reservations can be modified and cancelled by one day before the pickup date for free. In case of a modification or cancellation within one day before the pickup date or in case of a no-show, a fee equivalent to one day rental may be charged to the Guest.

HUNVENTOR Kft (the "Travel Agency") is the operator of the www.HolidayHungary.com web site. The Travel Agency provides free online reservation for the services of the shipping company MAHART PassNave Kft. (Budapest, Belgrad Rakpart, District 5).
Charges for Use:
The use of this reservation system is free of charge.
Acceptance of Reservation Requests:
Reservations are subject to confirmation by the Travel Agency. Reservations will be confirmed in writing (email). The confirmation contains the following information: name of the Passenger, specification of the service, terms of payment, cancellation dates and penalties.
Modification, Cancellation and No-show:
Reservations can be cancelled for free by two days prior to departure.
In case of a cancellation within two days prior to departure or in case of a no-show:
- a fee equivalent to the fare may be charged to the Guest or
- the Guest may ask for modification of his reservation for another journey date in the same year for free.
Terms of Payment:
The Guest will settle the fare of the hydrofoil journey at the check-in counter of the Shipping Company before boarding.
The following methods of payment will be accepted in Vienna (Austria):
- cash payment (EUR) or
- credit card (VISA, EC/MC).
The following methods of payment will be accepted in Budapest (Hungary):
- cash payment (EUR, HUF, USD) or
- credit card (VISA, Eurocard/Mastercard, AMEX, JCB).
Checking-in and boarding:
Checking-in, passports and customs clearance (valid travel documents required !) start one hour prior to departure. You must arrive at the check-in location by one hour before the departure time, otherwise your ticket may be sold. The seats are not numbered, passengers can take a seat in order of boarding.
Check-in location in Vienna (Austria):
- DDSG Schiffahrtszentrum, 1020 Vienna, Handelskai 265.
Check-in location in Budapest (Hungary):
- MAHART Nemzetközi Hajóállomás, 1056 Budapest, Belgrád Rakpart (Admirál Restaurant)
Behaviour on Board:
Passengers have to keep safety regulations and follow security and safety instructions of the captain on board, otherwise they may be excluded from travelling.
Disclaimer:
The Shipping Company disclaims all responsibility for any delay of the liners resulting from low or high water level, fog or delays caused by the locks. In case of cancelling a liner, the shipping company has to provide a replacing vehicle, but will give no refund to the passengers.
